Whistler Nordic centre is an easy 25 minute drive, Whistler Village is a further 10 minutes northwest Vancouvers Cypress Mountain Events is a 40 minute drive via the newly constructed 4 lane section, and a further 20 minutes to Vancouver event locations. Squamish is an ideal location which is situated half way between all the Venues. The house is a beautiful Whistler style house with peaked roofs, large fir beams,open floor plan with gorgeous Bamboo floors, Internet access, 42 inch Plasma TV, Gas fireplace, a Concept2 rowing machine and a beautiful kitchen with french doors onto 1 of the 2 decks. 6 people can stay in comfort and can easilly sleep 8 if required, Included is access to the single car garage/drying room. Minimum stay is 2 weeks with a $1000 dollar deposit on confirmation of rental,$10000 required by December 12/2009 and remaining Full amount is due based on day of occupancy. All money via cash/Bank wire transfer. $25,000 Canadian for the duration of the games for February 10-February 28 2010,or if your coming early the Rate for February 1-28th is $27000. Our personnal Vehicle[s] with insurance can be rented for your stay and must be negotiated prior but it is recommended to have arranged transportation due to the volume of people seeking accomadation/transportation. Based on your arrival date you will be picked up and transported to Squamish for all parties free of charge. Dates outside of the games are available so please contact via email for further information. Squamish is an ideal location--easy drive to Whistler, and to Vancouver while avoiding traffic that usually comes from the suburbs in the eastern part of the lower mainland. Hotels are now booking and Olympic officials have plans for renting multiple entire Hotels for their officials after the RCMP/Olympic security have done the same. Sorry, no pets.
